American author, Robert Greene wrote a book called “The 48 Laws of Power”; The number one law is “NEVER OUTSHINE THE MASTER”, always make those above you feel comfortably superior, don’t display too much of your talents; you might accomplish the opposite: you might inspire fear and insecurity. Make your masters appear more brilliant than they are and you will attain the heights of power.
What is happening now is the sense of insecurity from CDM top officials towards ZZK; they might have solid complaints towards ZZK but possibly this is not the right way to deal with them. ZZK is not the first CDM member to be accused by his own fellow members of his party; I remember one time Hon. Shibuda (MP) was also accused but things didn’t go this far.
Tanzania still needs strong opposition parties, which can respect their own constitutions and by laws before we assume that one day they shall respect National constitution.
Opposition parties still have a lot to learn from the ruling party CCM, especially from the Chairman of the party Ndg. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete."
